Washington, July 26 : Actor Matthew Perry has revealed that he suffers from an untreatable form of insomnia.
The former 'Friends' star recently confessed that he's frightened of falling asleep.
The Whole Nine Yards actor admitted that he has tried everything to loosen up at night so as to get a sound sleep.
"I've bought really comfortable bedding, I light candles to create a relaxing atmosphere and put on calming music to play while brushing my teeth," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.
But Perry added that none of these tricks proved beneficial and he still has to find something to relieve him of his abnormal fear.
"But none of these rituals work. It's hard to turn my head off and when I try to go to sleep, something creeps in, a little fear, I think," he said.
