Singer Sarah Harding has hit out at people who claim that she is a booze-loving babe.
London, July 25 : Singer Sarah Harding has hit out at people who claim that she is a booze-loving babe.
The Girls Aloud's singer insisted that her reputation as a party girl is unfair, and dubbed the reports as "double standards."
"I'm not always out getting drunk. Admittedly I went out a couple of nights in a row recently but so what? The press make such a big deal of it, it's just double standards. You don't see them saying the same things about blokes," the Mirror quoted her, as saying.
Harding added that there was nothing wrong with drinking, as it was a normal thing for most girls of her age.
"When blokes get drunk no one bats an eyelid. But when it's me or Amy Winehouse having a drink... we get slated. It's not fair," she said.
"And anyway, what's wrong with us having a drink? It's what most girls our age do," she added.
