American actress Hilary Swank is set to star in upcoming superhero flick Iron Man, based on the fictional Marvel Comics character.
Melbourne, July 24 : American actress Hilary Swank is set to star in upcoming superhero flick 'Iron Man', based on the fictional Marvel Comics character.
The surprise cast of Jon Favreau's movie was inadvertantly revealed by producer Avi Arad, when he was asked about Swank's appearance in the film.
"How do you know [about that]?" Moviehole quoted Arad, as saying.
The owner of Avi Arad Productions, which work on various Marvel projects, also revealed that the Oscar winning actress will be in a cameo role.
"It's a cameo," he said.
The Israeli-American businessman was however surprised that the news of actor Samuel L. Jackson starring as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nick Fury came out.
"The Sam thing was supposed to be the biggest secret of them all. It's amazing how it got out," he said.
The film is slated for release on May 2, next year.
