Former James Bond star Sir Roger Moore insists that he is not retiring from films.

Washington, July 23 : Former James Bond star Sir Roger Moore insists that he is not retiring from films.

Speculations about Moore's retirement were prompted by his absence from movie circles for the last five years.

Sir Roger, however, said that he is willing to get back to films if someone comes up with a good script and a lucrative deal

"I'm not retired yet. If someone offers me a decent script with a nice schedule and a bit of dosh (money) to sweeten the deal, then I'm for hire," ontactmusic quoted the actor, as saying.

Of late, the 80-year-old legend has been seen in TV mini series and his recently acclaimed role in The Quest.

The British actor also made an appearance in an episode of the American TV series Alias in 2002.
