Washington, July 23 : Martial arts star Jackie Chan is all set to produce and star in 'The Shinjuku Incident', a film about the lives of Chinese immigrants in Tokyo.

Set in Japan, the film will be produced by Chan's JCE group, and directed by Derek Yee Tung-sing.

"'Shinjuku Incident' will be Jackie's next film after 'The Forbidden Kingdom'," Variety magazine quoted Solon So, Chan's partner in JCE, as saying.

The shooting for the flick, set up as an official co-production with a mainland Chinese partner, is expected to begin before the end of the year.

While Tokyo is on the list of locales where the cameras have to be rolled, some parts of the movie are likely to be shot in Chinese locations.

Solon has revealed that the budget for the movie will be greater than the amount that had been spent on the production of 'The Myth', made at a cost of 15 million dollars.
