Travolta couldnt turn down Connerys dance request

Actor John Travolta has revealed that he was taken aback when Sir Sean Connery once asked him to dance at a party, but accepted the offer because he couldnt refuse the James Bond legend.

Washington, July 20 : Actor John Travolta has revealed that he was taken aback when Sir Sean Connery once asked him to dance at a party, but accepted the offer because he couldn't refuse the James Bond legend.

Travolta admits that he was frequently asked to dance following his role in 1977's Saturday Night Fever, but also confesses that he was stunned when Connery popped the request at a high-class bash in the 1980s.

"I was asked to dance by Sean Connery. We were at a party for Frank Sinatra and we were on our way out, my wife and I were leaving. And he (Connery) said, 'John, where you going?' And I said, 'I've got to go home, I'm filming tomorrow.' And he said, 'Before you dance with me?'" Contactmusic quoted Travolta, as saying.

The 'Pulp Fiction' star added that he agreed to the call, for he couldn't "turn down Bond."

"And I said, 'Alright.' "Who's going to turn down Bond? So we ended up dancing together," he said.

"The whole party stopped... I just couldn't believe I was dancing with 007. It was a good feeling, dancing with a big icon like that was awesome," he added.
