Multiple Emmy nods for Ugly Betty, Greys Anatomy

Television dramedy series Ugly Betty and medical drama Greys Anatomy have received eleven and ten nominations respectively for the 59th Annual Emmy Awards.

Washington, July 20 : Television dramedy series 'Ugly Betty' and medical drama 'Grey's Anatomy' have received eleven and ten nominations respectively for the 59th Annual Emmy Awards.

'Ugly Betty' star America Ferrera, who won the 'Best TV Actress' Golden Globe Award this year for the show, has earned an Emmy nomination for 'Best Actress in a Comedy' this time.

The show has been nominated for 'Best Comedy Series', along with situation comedy show 'The Office', HBO original series 'Entourage', NBC sitcom '30 Rock' and 'Two and a Half Men'.

HBO topped the nominees' list second year earning 86 nominations, US Weekly reports.

Singer/actor Justin Timberlake also picked up a nod for his hilarious Andy Samberg duet skit entitled 'Dick in a Box', which aired on Saturday Night Live in the 'Outstanding Original Music And Lyrics' category.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 16 in L.A. and will be aired on Fox.
