Ray Liotta to play ex-con in Whitaker starrer Power Blue

Actor Ray Liotta has bagged a deal to star alongside Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker and actress Jessica Biel in a new film, Power Blue.

Washington, July 20 : Actor Ray Liotta has bagged a deal to star alongside Oscar-winner Forest Whitaker and actress Jessica Biel in a new film, Power Blue.

Director Timothy Linh Bui, who has also scripted the film, is to begin its shooting next month.

The film revolves around four troubled persons who meet on Christmas Eve.

Liotta will portray an ex-con who, upon his release after 25 years, reaches out to his long-lost daughter, to be played by Biel.

According to Variety magazine, the film will be a collaboration between three production companies-Eleven Eleven Films, Spirit Dance Entertainment, and Grosvenor Park Media.

Liotta just wrapped the Wayne Kramer-directed "Crossing Over," a Weinstein Co. drama about immigration that also features Harrison Ford, Sean Penn and Ashley Judd in the ensemble cast.
