New York, July 19 : Singer Usher has reportedly served a legal papers on the woman running his No.1 fansite, usherforever.com, to shut shop because the website does not care for his fiancee, Tameka Foster.
An insider has revealed that the singer has sent Erika Jackson papers through his lawyer.
"He's had his lawyer send her papers," the New York Daily News quoted the insider as saying.
Foster has been unpopular among Usher's fans ever since rumours about her acting as a catalyst in the firing of the latter's manager mother, Jonetta Patton, spread.
In May, Usher parted ways with long-time publicist Simone Smalls, and recently his other long-time representative Chris Chambers left the team.
Chambers is said to have disapproved of the "open letter" Usher released to fans last week.
"It's disturbing that the media and bloggers (under the guise as 'fans') continuously speculate on the personal aspects of my life," Usher wrote.
Usherforever.com reciprocated to the letter by terming the singer's move "petty".
Meanwhile, sources have also hinted that Usher may miss an August deadline to deliver his next album.
However, Jive Records' spokeswoman has said the date for the release of the album had never been fixed.
The singer's new representative has also said that the information is inaccurate, though refused to elaborate.
