London, July 19 : Rocker Rod Stewart has sold more tickets in the US, proving that he is even hotter than 'Sexyback' hit maker Justin Timberlake.
The 62-year-old, who has made 23 million pounds on his tour of the country, also beat stunning young artists like Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani.
An industry source said that the aging musician still has fans flocking to see him perform.
"Despite nearly being a pensioner, Rod has still got what it takes. He has a lot of fans who flock to see him rock packed venues," the Daily Snack quoted the source, as saying.
"Maybe marrying a younger woman has given him a new lease of life. Age doesn't seem to have slowed him down - you could even say he Wears It Well,'" the source added.
Timberlake followed the 'Maggie May' singer with 21 million pounds.
However, The Police that has more trips to go is expected to overtake the English artist soon.
