Actor Michael Douglas is happy that his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones has signed on to star in romantic comedy No Reservation, as he strongly believes that the film will illustrate his spouses softer side.
Washington, July 19 : Actor Michael Douglas is happy that his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones has signed on to star in romantic comedy 'No Reservation', as he strongly believes that the film will illustrate his spouse's softer side.
The characters of strong-headed, tough women that Zeta-Jones is known for playing in films like 'Traffic', 'Ocean's Twelve' and 'The Mask Of Zorro' have always kept Douglas worried that the world will never get to know what a lovely person his wife is.
But the actor is now content with Zeta-Jones nodding to star in 'No Reservations' because he thinks that the movie will help mop up people's misconceptions about his wife.
"Michael told me, 'I'm so happy you're doing this film. You'll help show people what a lovely person Catherine is,'" Contactmusic quoted film director Scott Hicks as saying.
"Often her characters have a tougher edge to them, and people mistake that for her, and it's quite wrong," he added.
