Washington, July 16 : American singer Janet Jackson is desperate to star in the 1980s television series 'Fame' once again.
The programme followed the fortunes of students and faculty of the New York City High School for the Performing Arts.
Janet considers the show to be one of the best programmes of the eighties. She insists that she was lucky to get a chance to appear on the show in 1984 and 1985.
The singer also says that she wants the show to be back for a new audience.
"It was the ultimate show of the 80s, and I was lucky to get a part in it. I would love for it to come back," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
