It looks like rocker Courtney Love doesnt intend to give up her wild ways, for she not only celebrated turning 43 by getting sloshed, but also left her suite at the Covent Garden Hotel in a total mess, racking up a loss of a thousand pounds for wrecking the room.
London, July 12 : It looks like rocker Courtney Love doesn't intend to give up her wild ways, for she not only celebrated turning 43 by getting sloshed, but also left her suite at the Covent Garden Hotel in a total mess, racking up a loss of a thousand pounds for wrecking the room.
The singer, who partied with 'Mighty Boosh' funnyman Noel Fielding, is said to have ruined bed sheets and left the 495 pounds a night room in the hotel in Central London, with cigarette butts strewn all over the place.
"Staff said the room was left in a right state - like a wild animal had been let loose in there,' the Mirror quoted a spy, as saying.
"She had used the place as an ashtray with butts strewn about and burn marks all over the bed, carpet and upholstery. I feel sorry for whoever had to clean it up," the spy added.
A spokesperson for the hotel refused to comment and said that all that happens between the hotel and its customer is not to be discussed in open.
"What our guests do in here is between them and us," the spokesperson said.
However, it doesn't look like it has been the first wrecking spree for Love, for detective Tom Grant said that she once wrecked Trent Reznor's hotel room after he rejected her.
"Courtney told me about a time when she trashed Nine Inch Nail singer Trent Reznor's hotel room after he rejected her," he said.
