Fan who brought Kylies strip club poster to light reveals herself

The Kylie Minogue aficionado who revealed to the singers camp that a Wellington strip club was using a promotional poster, featuring Minogue in a saturated white T-shirt in its window has now come forward.

Wellington, Dec 7: The Kylie Minogue aficionado who revealed to the singer's camp that a Wellington strip club was using a promotional poster, featuring Minogue in a saturated white T-shirt in its window has now come forward.

Melanie Wise, a die-hard Minogue fan said that she took the photograph of a promotional poster four years before the star went through surgery, at the window of Santa Fe Dreamgirls strip club in February.

Miss Wise's husband said that she was enraged to see the poster and instantly recognised the steamy shot as a promotional image from the singer's 2001's Fever album.

Wise said that she was greatly offended and admitted that she was protective of the star battling with breast cancer throughout 2005 and 2006

"It was just so offensive to me. It was just so obvious and so blatant," stuff.co.nz quoted Wise, as saying. he then sent the photograph to record company executives acting for the 39-year-old singer in Auckland.

Now, Minogue's lawyers, Sheridans Solicitors in London have sent a notice to Santa Fe Dreamgirls owner Garth Rosson demanding it to remove the poster and never use Minogue's image again.

Garth Rosson said that the poster is not use now.

Rossan said that if the lawyers could prove that it was the Aussie pop star he would not use her image again, otherwise he would continue using it.

"As for Mel, I would have thought she'd have better things to do with her time," said Rossan.
