Washington, Dec 7 : British comedian Stephen Fry employs a novel technique to shed those extra pounds - he simply listens to James Bond books on tape.

The Wilde star recently admitted that the famous British spy has helped him lose weight.

Fry said that the melodious tones of fellow Brit Rufus Sewell, who voices the audiobooks, helps him walk faster.

"There's no great secret - it's a question of eating less. That, and going for a brisk walk every day listening to Rufus Sewell reading the James Bond audiobooks on my headset," Contactmusic quoted him, as saying.

"The Bond books are read at just the right pace to help me walk faster," he added.
