Washington, Dec 04 : Will Smith has revealed that his children want to follow in his footsteps and become movie stars like him.
In an interview that was conducted with People magazine, Smith said that his daughter Willow had wanted a role in his new movie'I Am Legend', after she saw her brother Jaden act in the movie 'The Pursuit of Happyness'.
"She has a drive. She has an energy and she just connects to human emotion," the mag quoted Smith, as saying.
"I think a big part was probably [seeing] Jaden after The Pursuit of Happyness. She saw what Jaden did, and she was like, 'I want that,'" he said.
Smith said that his daughter was already making a big impression with the film crew through her work ethics.
The 39-year-old actor, who has already achieved success in music and television, joked that both his children had different acting ambitions.
He is reported to have told People magazine that his son Jaden wanted to do serious roles as he "loves acting", while revealing fame is what appeals to his daughter.
"Jaden is [like] Johnny Depp. He just wants to do good work . . . He loves acting, he just wants to make good movies. And Willow is Paris Hilton. Willow wants to be on TV."
