The African model said that her dad had to bribe her cousin to take her to the party.
"When I had my prom, my father had to pay my own cousin to take me to it," the Daily News quoted her, as saying.
"He had to pay him a lot of money, at least a couple of hundred dollars. No one wanted to take me out," she said.
"I was an ugly duckling compared to the other girls. The other girls were fatter than me. They like them round in my country!" she added.
