Washington, Dec 31 : Actress Uma Thurman says that her years of efforts to kick the butt have finally borne fruit.
The 'Paycheck' star said that it was due to this habit that she could not get roles in movies, as it would leave her out of breath and she couldn't attempt action scenes.
"I used to smoke so much that I got winded if I did any exercise. I was never rippling and toned like a lot of my colleagues," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
" Now after years of trying, my evil old buddy has gone," she added.
The 37-year-old star had recently revealed that she owes her environmental knowledge to her two kids.
She admitted to have very little knowledge about Earth's climate crisis, and credits her kids for increasing her awareness.
