London, Dec 3 : Football star David Beckham ignores the ban wife Victoria imposed on him when he put in a surprise appearance at the opening of the Spice Girls reunion world tour in Vancouver.
Beckham had seen wife Victoria after three-and-a-half weeks as he was on tour with his team LA Galaxy in New Zealand.
Posh Spice admitted that she was tensed about her husband seeing the show.
"David turned up today but he hasn't been at any of the rehearsals because he's been away working so I'm nervous about what he's going to think about the show. He's not even seen any of the costumes," Daily Snack quoted her, as saying.
The Spice Girls have made a comeback after nine long years. Despite media reports of internal feuds, all five said they were having a fantastic time working together again. el C said that is great to be back together.
"So much time has passed, so much water has gone under the bridge and it's just great to all be back together. I don't think we ever thought 'it's the four of us and Geri'. Us coming back together are five individuals. We get on better now than we ever did," she said.
"We all really respect each other now, we always did, but now more than ever. And coming back is the most natural thing in the world."
Mel C also said they are excited to see that young people are also listening to them.
"Something else we've been really excited about with the Great Hits being out is young people who weren't around are now listening to the Spice Girls. It's a new generation that's listening to our music and that's great," she added.
