London, Dec 29 : JK Rowling has penned a Harry Potter family tree, which outlines the future of her treasured characters.
In an ITV1 documentary, 'JK Rowling: A Year in the Life,' the writer said she has found it impossible to bring herself to end the famous boy wizard's adventures since her final book this year.
However, Rowling said she has ruled out penning a sequel to her seven-volume saga.
"I couldn't stop, I had to know what happened next," Times Online quoted her, as saying.
In the family tree, Bill Weasley has three children with Fleur Delacour and Percy marries an unknown girl.
George Weasley weds Quidditch player Angelina Johnson and Luna Lovegood has two sons with Rolf Scamander.
"It was like running a race and you get to the finishing line and you're running too fast to stop, so I do know what happened afterwards and I couldn't stop my imagination doing that," she said."So I know this sounds an awful lot of detail to go into for your own satisfaction and not because you're planning to write more books, but that's just how it was. I couldn't stop.
Rowling said that writers always had to know more detail than was used in a book.
"It gives me a certain satisfaction to say what I thought happened and to tell other people that, because I would like my version to be the official version," she said.
