Washington, Dec 28 : Lindsay Lohan's dad Michael Lohan has advised the Spears family to 'stand together' after the family made negative headlines with Jamie-Lynn Spears' unexpected pregnancy and Britney Spears' bizarre behaviour.The senior Lohan compared the Spears family to his own and said that it is important for families to stay together in the time of crisis.
"People just don't realize what it's like to live under the whirlwind that families like mine and the Spearses and other families out there are caught up in. It takes a lot to hold it together," People quoted him, as saying.
Indirectly addressing Britney's mum Lynne Spears, Michael said, "Stand together. Stand by each other and don't let anyone come between you."
Lohan also slammed rumors linking his daughter to Entourage star, Adrian Grenier.
"He's a friend. She went over there for dinner one night over the holidays for an hour or so. They drank water and she went home," he said.
When asked about how Lindsay is faring after a tumultuous year, he said: "She's doing amazingly well."
