Rock singer Courtney Loves stolen earrings mysteriously reappeared in a New York hotel, a day after police launched an investigation into the incident.

Washington, Dec 28 : Rock singer Courtney Love's stolen earrings mysteriously reappeared in a New York hotel, a day after police launched an investigation into the incident.

The 43-year-old singer was devastated when a pair of pink diamond earrings, worth 100,000 dollars, were stolen from her room recently.

The former Hole singer was staying at the Four Seasons Hotel along with her daughter Frances Bean when the earrings disappeared from her room.

A source had told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton that Courtney had bought those earrings as a Christmas gift for her 15-year-old daughter.

"Courtney is devastated. She had brought the earrings for Frances as her Christmas present. Frances hadn't even tried them on yet," Contactmusic quoted the source, as saying.
