When George Clooney stole a Christmas tree to avenge his terrorised dog

Actor George Clooney has revealed that he once celebrated Christmas in a cheeky way - by stealing his neighbours prized Christmas tree.

Washington, Dec 25 : Actor George Clooney has revealed that he once celebrated Christmas in a cheeky way - by stealing his neighbour's prized Christmas tree.

The 46-year-old actor recalled his college days, revealing that he stole the tree in order to take revenge from his next-door neighbour for terrorising his pet dog.

"Our neighbour was so proud of his garden, so when my dog got into it, he shot its butt full of pellets. Fortunately the dog didn't die," Contactmusic quoted Clooney, as saying.

"But in the middle of the neighbour's garden was a manicured fir tree, so one Christmas Eve, I sawed it down and put it up in our house.

"No Christmas tree has ever meant so much to me," he added.
