London, Dec 25 : Halle Berry has revealed that she was shattered when she found that Santa Claus was not real.
The Oscar-winning actress found the truth about Father Christmas when she caught her mother eating the plate of cookies she had left out for him.
The actress revealed that she spent time baking the treats for the rotund gift-bringing legend but was horrified to find her mother scoffing them.
"The day I saw my mum eating the Santa cookies on the plate was one of the most horrific days of my life. I never let her forget it," The Sun quoted Berry, as saying.
"I had at least three more good years that I could have believed had she not been so careless," she added.
