Washington, Dec 24: The man who has lent his designs to rockers like Tony Iommi, Slash, and Bon Jovi is all set to launch a new clothing line for women.
Ray Brown clothing line will be called the Ray Brown Classic.
Iommi, who admits to be stunned by the news, says that he has complete faith in his long-time designer.
"Considering Ray only has one colour (black) to work with when designing my clothes, he is always able to come up with interesting and adventurous pieces," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Blabbermouth.net.
"For over 25 years Ray has been creating my outfits for both on and off stage, yet he is still able to produce new ideas and concepts," he added.
Slash also backed Brown's decision, saying that he was much better than any other artist.
"I highly recommend Ray Brown to any artist because of his craftsmanship and his ability to interpret my ideas in a cool way," said Slash.
Ray Brown has also been a designer for Metallica, Judas Priest and Black Sabbath.
