London, Dec 22 : Musician Chris Martin has been doing his bit for society by secretely doing plumber jobs.
The Coldplay frontman has been helping out a London charity by fixing their water pipes.
Martin, married to Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow, has been busy with repairing stopcocks and cisterns of a temporary shelter for alcoholics run by Crisis in London's Kennington.
"Chris has been doing their plumbing for them," the Daily Express quoted a source as saying.
"He does this every year, for free, on the hush hush. Apparently he's quite a dab hand with it all," the source added.
A Crisis spokesperson said: "We have 7,000 volunteers helping at Christmas. There are celebrities among them but we can't name those who wish to remain anonymous."
