Jolies letter to Vietnam highlights Paxs laughs, songs and joking skills

Angelina Jolie has written a letter to Vietnamese authorities detailing the progress of her four year old adopted son Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt since his adoption.

New York, Dec 22 : Angelina Jolie has written a letter to Vietnamese authorities detailing the progress of her four year old adopted son Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt since his adoption.

The actress adopted the tot from Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam on March 15, 2007.

In the letter to Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, Jolie reports that Pax is healthy, "funny" and loving life with his new family.

She reports that the boy, initially described as "shy and dazed," has become a confident English-speaking big brother over the last seven months.

"He speaks in full sentences and even tells great jokes. He has bonded with all his family members and we believe he feels very safe in his home," the New York Post quoted Jolie, as the stating in the letter.

The 'Tomb Raider' star penned the letter on behalf of her family of six, which includes adopted kids Maddox, 6, and Zahara, 2, and 1-year-old Shiloh, Angie's biological child with partner Brad Pitt.

"He laughs, sings, tells stories and is very fun to be around. He has a great sense of humor and is very imaginative," she wrote.

The actress, who sent the report along with two candid photos of the happy toddler, also said that Pax attends pre-kindergarten with sister Zahara.

"He loves to play outside and enjoys playing with toys that allow him to utilize his fine motor skills," she said.

"He is a wonderful addition to our family. We love him very much," she concluded.

According to the Vietnamese law, parents who adopt a child from the country must update authorities on the progress of the child periodically during the first three years following adoption, and at least once every year later till the child is 18 years of age.
