Washington, Dec 20 : Jessica Simpson is trying really hard to step into Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts' shoes.

The singer/actress is desperate to reprise the role of hooker Vivian Ward, the famous character played by Roberts in the 1990 movie 'Pretty Woman.'

And Simpson is certain that her next big screen project will be a winner.

"She think this one's got hit written all over it," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling OK! magazine.

"(Her father) Joe has been telling anyone who will listen that she's the next Julia Roberts," the source added.
