Washington, Dec 20: Britney Spears went out for some Christmas shopping at the Lisa Kline Boutique after hearing about her sister Jamie Lynn's pregnancy.
The store's rep, Kate Diamond revealed that the 26-year-old singer looked the great after a long time.
"She called us in the early evening and said she wanted to come shop for Christmas. She looks the best I've seen her in a really long time ... She was really, really nice, saying, 'Thanks, babe,' 'Yeah, babe.' Everything was 'babe,'" People quoted Diamond as saying.
The singer bought matching Christmas gifts for her mom and sister and also grabbed two By Francine dresses and a Treesje purse for herself.
However, in an unusual turn of events IMS Security's Aaron Cohen - the man hired by Kevin Federline's attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, to subpoena several of Spears's associates - was this time charged with protecting the singer at the store.
"That's how we do it. Whatever our prior engagements might be - safety first," said Cohen.
