Tyler, who had first moved to the Big Apple when she was a teenage model, is determined not to let her celebrity life affect her two-year-old son.
"I don't want my son to grow up like this. I grew up in Maine and had a great sense of wide open spaces," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"I just don't want to deal with this anymore," she added.
The Hollywood actress now lives in Manhattan with her rocker husband Royston Langdon and their son Milo.
