Pammie slams Mars for funding animal experiments

Actress Pamela Anderson has been shocked by claims that the Mars candy company funds experiments that kill animals.

New York, Dec 17: Actress Pamela Anderson has been shocked by claims that the Mars candy company funds experiments that kill animals.

Anderson, who is one of the most vocal supporters of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), has now slammed the makers of M and M's, a company that she once promoted.

In a letter written to Mars President Paul Michaels, the 40-year-old actress urged others to support a PETA in boycotting Twix and other snacks made by the company.

"When my friends at PETA showed me evidence that Mars continues to fund cruel and pointless animal tests, I was shocked - and it takes a lot to shock me," New York Daily quoted, the former Playboy model.

Mars had paid Anderson to travel to Australia to and endorse green M and M's last year.
