Former James Bond star Sir Roger Moore has launched an attack on the treatment of British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

London, Dec 16 : Former James Bond star Sir Roger Moore has launched an attack on the treatment of British troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 80-year-old actor and UNICEF campaigner said he was disgusted by the lack of equipment for the armed forces.

The keen UNICEF campaigner told Paul O'Grady on his Channel 4 show that he rarely lost his temper but this was one issue that made his blood boil.

"The way our troops are treated, I think that's bloody disgraceful," The Sun quoted him, as telling O'Grady.

"Our generals say Our Boys don't have what they need when they're fighting and they want them to go on fighting. It's not good enough," he added.
