Macca and Minogue to welcome New Year with a duet

Sir Paul McCartney and Kylie Minogue have teamed up to do a duet for the New Year.

Washington, Dec 16 : Sir Paul McCartney and Kylie Minogue have teamed up to do a duet for the New Year.

The double act will be aired on British TV on New Year's Eve (31Dec07), as they welcome a fresh year.

The Australian singer had joined McCartney as he performed the hit song Dance Tonight on Dec 13, while filming the annual holiday program Hootenanny, hosted by musician/TV presenter Jools Holland.

"Macca (McCartney) snared Kylie before she was due to team up with (British talent show finalist) Leon Jackson. She looked very sexy in a flesh-coloured bandage style dress," Contactmusic quoted a source, as telling British newspaper the Daily Star.

"After her performance, which also included a stripped-down version of I Should Be So Lucky, Kylie sat at Sir Paul's table and watched the rest of the programme being made. Macca paid Kylie his full attention and they nattered (chatted) away like old pals," the source added.
