Washington, Dec 15 : Geri Halliwell will be parading in her 2007 version of the famous Union Jack mini-dress for the UK leg of the Spice Girls re-union tour.
The Union Jack mini-dress has acquired something of an iconic status after she wore it to the 1997 Brit Awards.
"We are a British band and seriously proud to fly the flag. Walking out in the Union Jack dress will be special, The Sun quoted her, as saying.
Geri said she can't wait to show off the outfit on the UK stage for the group's re-union tour.
"I can't wait to say, 'Hello, London!' It really matters to the Spice Girls that Britain loves what we do," she said.
Meanwhile, the all-girl band is all geared up to spice up the UK stage with their own raunchy Ann Summers clothing range.
"There's enough for our own range of naughty merchandise - whips, leather, hotpants. Mel B's leopardskin, the PVC and Geri's hotpants - we should do it," band member Emma Bunton said.
The re-union, however, will not be permanent as Emma smashed all hopes for a permanent comeback of the girl band.
"Our priorities have changed. We are not going to carry on," she said.
