Washington, Dec 12 : Filmmaker Ari Sandel is all set to wear the director's cap for 'Brad Cutter Ruined My Life ... Again,' a comedy project Fox Atomic has acquired.

'Brad Cutter Ruined My Life... Again' is being produced by Donald De Line.

The script written by Joe Nussbaum, follows the life of a high school nerd who, after getting a good job and a beautiful girlfriend, becomes unhinged when his company hires the guy who was most popular in his high school, and who made the nerd's life unbearable, reports Variety.

Sandel won the 2007 Academy Award in the category Best Short Film (Live Action for the short film, 'West Bank Story'.

He has just finished directing the feature doc 'Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show', which is to be released in February by Picturehouse.

'Brad Cutter Ruined My Life... Again' is slotted for production early next year.
