Washington, Aug 9 ; Rapper Kevin Federline has reportedly filed a show cause order for the primary physical custody of his two kids with ex-wife Britney Spears.
According to a source, Federline filed the papers on Aug 8 in Los Angeles Superior Court.
It seems that Federline fears that his sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, are exposed to 'unnecessary risk' and his counsel, Mark Vincent Kaplan, 'hopes to get Kevin primary custody', reports People magazine.
The couple had come to an agreement earlier this year by which custody of the kids would be split 50-50, with Britney getting primary care.
In June, during their legal battle for divorce, Federline was reluctant to sign papers giving Britney sole custody of the kids, citing the 'Toxic' star's bizarre behaviour.
The former couple legally ended their marriage on, July 30, this year.
It is also said that Federline made his latest move after pictures of the pop star topless in a hotel pool surfaced.
