Posh and Becks slowly picking up American lingo

Footballer David Beckham and wife Victoria are slowly getting used to the American lingo.

London, Aug 9 : Footballer David Beckham and wife Victoria are slowly getting used to the American lingo.

The couple shifted base from Europe to the US when Becks signed a 5-year deal with American soccer club LA Galaxy earlier this year.

And after a few weeks of being in the country, Posh reveals that they are getting used to US words.

"We're starting to say trunk instead of boot, trash instead of rubbish, that kind of thing," the Mirror quoted her, as saying.

However, Becks admits that the process is taking place at a slow pace.

"We're starting to get it slowly," he added.

Posh in the meanwhile, is also giving lessons to pal Tom Cruise in 'English english', for the actor is enamoured with her accent and turn of phrase.
