London, Aug 9 : It seems Sarah Jessica Parker has gone a bit too far to get an ultra-muscular for the upcoming 'Sex and the City' flick.
The 42-year-old showed off her pumped-up physique in a strapless black dress teamed with a belt and matching dark shoes at the launch of her perfume in New York.
According to a source, the secret to the actress' athletic toned bod's definitely lies in excessive gym.
"She definitely looks as though she's been stepping it up a gear or two in the gym of late. She did not have an ounce of fat on her and her arms, in particular, where exceptionally honed. She has the kind of physique that an athlete in their twenties would be proud of," the Daily Mail quoted the source, as saying.
Health and fitness expert Richard Comley insisted that such prominent veinage was usually a sign of physical over-exertion.
"Sarah has obviously done high resistance training to get her arms that defined and sculpted. It is unusual to see a woman with that amount of developed muscle, because females have lower testosterone levels than males," Comley said.
"She has got a low body fat percentage - you can tell by the definition on her arms and you can almost see it on her chest as well. She has started to develop chest muscles. She would have been training for months to achieve this look and some spot-on training," Comley added.
According to sources, the series' four leading actresses Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon are in full swing to adapt the hit show for the silver screen.
