Actor Christian Slater is getting set to take to the London Stage once again in the theatre adaptation of the movie Swimming with Sharks.
London, Aug 9 : Actor Christian Slater is getting set to take to the London Stage once again in the theatre adaptation of the movie 'Swimming with Sharks'.
The actor will be playing the part of Buddy Ackerman, a Hollywood movie mogul and the proverbial boss from hell, who ends up being taken hostage by his long-suffering assistant.
n the 1994 movie, actor Kevin Spacey played the lead role.
"The moment I read this script I knew I had to do it. This is a fantastic, edge of the seat, gripping story told with a wickedly funny wit," the Daily Mail quoted Slater, as saying.
"It's a great role, a great play and I can't wait to get back on to the London stage - it's like my second home," he added.
he play will be featured at London's Vaudeville Theatre from October 16 for a 15-week season.
This will be the second time that the actor takes to the stage. He previously wowed theatre lovers with his performance in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'.
