Actress Reese Witherspoon has been signed on as the new face of beauty giant Avon.
London, Aug 8 : Actress Reese Witherspoon has been signed on as the new face of beauty giant 'Avon'.
The 31-year-old has reportedly been paid an undisclosed sum to be the firm's global ambassador and shoot adverts.
The 'Legally Blonde' actress will be the Honorary Chairman of Avon Foundation, a charity focusing on breast cancer, domestic violence and emergency relief initiatives.
The Oscar winner insisted that the firm known for its 'Avon calling' phrase was 'empowering women through making them feel good and building self-esteem'.
Witherspoon revealed that there have been 'Avon ladies' in her family and she was proud to join the firm.
"As long as I can remember, we've had Avon ladies in my family's life. I feel really proud joining their ranks," the Sun quoted Witherspoon, as saying.
