Seymour was recently granted permission to hold round-the-clock events at her home, St Catherine's Court, near Bath, Somerset.
But neighbours insist that partygoers are not only disturbing the peace but that everyday life too is being disturbed what with local lanes being clogged up with traffic from delivery drivers.
St Catherine's Parish council is taking Seymour and her director husband James Keach, to court in a bid to overturn the party licence.
"Anger and frustration about the way in which the owners and management of St Catherine's Court have chosen to impose a commercial business on local people with no consultation and explicitly against their wishes leaves residents with no choice but legal action," the Telegraph quoted Ian Plaister, the council's chairman, as saying.
"We must prevent an endless round of traffic chaos and blight caused by late-night entertainments, weddings and conferences.
"The narrow lanes in this very peaceful part of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty simply cannot cope with this sort of development," he added.
Residents are also blaming the Bath and North East Somerset Council for not listening to concerns about public nuisance and public safety while granting the 24-hour alcohol and entertainment licence.
The first hearing for the case will take place at Bath and Wansdyke Magistrates' Court on August 14.
Seymour bought St Catherine's Court and its 15 acres in 1984 after shooting the television film Jamaica Inn there.
After snapping up the place for 350,000 pounds, she then spent 3 million pounds renovating the manor.
Seymour and her husband live there for three months of the year and rent out the property for private functions.
The house has attracted many celebrities over the years, including pop star Robbie Williams.
