London, Aug 7 : Pop star Lily Allen's US visa has been revoked after the singer was interrogated by authorities at a US airport regarding her arrest for an alleged attack on a photog.
This June, the singer was arrested by cops for the purported Kung Fu attack on Kevin Rush outside a nightspot in March this year.
At LA's international airport, the 'Smile' singer was hauled to a cell and strip-searched by officers who released her after five hours upon negotiations with her lawyers.
The 21-year-old Brit star, who is due to get back to the US for a September gig, said that she is trying her level best to sort things out.
"I am trying everything I can to sort this out. I don't like letting my fans down." the Mirror quoted her, as saying.
Allen visited the country for a video with Kanye West and she now thinks that her show is jeopardised.
"It is my intention to play my American dates in September. This depends on the authorities granting me a new work visa," she said.
"I want my fans to know that I will do everything I can to be back in America in September. I don't like letting my fans down and this is a situation that I am sure we can sort," she added.
