Ageless Chan clambers up Eiffel Tower without safety net

Martial arts star Jackie Chan left the production crew stunned by clambering up Paris iconic Eiffel Tower without a safety net while filming Rush Hour 3.

Washington, Aug. 4 : Martial arts star Jackie Chan left the production crew stunned by clambering up Paris' iconic Eiffel Tower without a safety net while filming 'Rush Hour 3'.

The 53-year-old actor was adamantly opposed to taking the help of stunt doubles on set, and insisted that he would do the stunts on his own till his body permitted.

Although the age is catching up with Chan, he is dead sure that he will be able to continue doing daredevil stunts for many more years.

"Sometimes I forget my age. You just keep moving. "I'll do it until my body will tell me stop. I don't think about retirement," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

Chan has also revealed the motivational factor behind his avoidance of stunt doubles.

"The experience was something none of us would forget, least of all me. I can tell my grandchildren, 'This is your grandfather. This is me. That's not a double flying around the Eiffel Tower in 100 mile-per-hour winds,'" he said.
