Michael Douglas will never make Presidential bid

Hollywood star Michael Douglas says that he does not have any desire to become an incumbent of public office, as other Hollywood stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan.

Washington, Aug. 31 : Hollywood star Michael Douglas says that he does not have any desire to become an incumbent of public office, as other Hollywood stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ronald Reagan.

The Basic Instinct actor, who was named a United Nations Messenger of Peace in 1998, insists that though he respects publicly elected officials, he himself is not aiming to be one among them.

Douglas admits that he gives priority to diplomacy to public service.

"I'm so in awe and have such respect for publicly-elected officials. I enjoy the diplomacy part of it rather than being a public servant," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"I enjoy lobbying on the issues that mean a lot to me," he added.
