London, August 31 : Jesse Metcalfe seems to have found a permanent solution to ensure that he doesn't reunite with his on-off Irish girlfriend Nadine Coyle - a tacky tattoo.
The pair, who broke up in April, were recently snapped smooching on an LA garage forecourt, sparking rumours of a reunion.
However, the Desperate Housewives star has revealed that he has got a huge tattoo done of the Girls Aloud singer to take him back to the heart aching memories of their split.
"It's not that I'm not over the break-up, it's just that I really wanted to remember what it felt like to be in that relationship so that I never really go there again," The Sun quoted him, as stating on an American TV show.
Asked if he was heartbroken, Jesse added: "Umm, yeah." "Everyone has had their heart broken but this is just a reminder not to let it happen again," he added.
Jesse's distressing artwork shows a woman lassoing a heart in front of a rising sun that is shaped like Ireland.
"I went through a hard break-up. Every tattoo is a memory. I chose to get that tattoo, especially with the heart on the arm, because I choose to wear my heart on my sleeve," he said.
"It fits with my personality. I really couldn't be happier with the tattoo. It's the best I have," he added.
Jesse and Nadine started dating after meeting in Sydney in March last year but parted ways when he was spotted with another girl just days after leaving rehab in April this year.
