Emma Watson turns schoolgirl again for first post Harry Potter fil

Emma Watson will certainly not find her first film role outside the Harry Potter movies difficult, for she is set to play a schoolgirl once again.

London, Aug 31 : Emma Watson will certainly not find her first film role outside the Harry Potter movies difficult, for she is set to play a schoolgirl once again.

The 17-year old star has been signed up to play the part of orphaned Pauline Fossil in the BBC's adaptation of Noel Streatfeild's novel Ballet Shoes.

And, far from being disappointed that she can't seem to get away from the schoolroom, Watson is thrilled with the chance to star in the movie.

"I think the books are really special and could not let such an amazing project go. I loved Pauline from the start," the Daily Mail quoted her, as writing to fans on her website.

The movie, set in 1930s London, revolves around Pauline and her two sisters, who are adopted by an eccentric explorer, to be played by Richard Griffiths.

Screenwriter Heidi Thomas said that movie bosses were 'thrilled' to have Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, as part of the film.

"Emma is a magical actress. We're thrilled to have her on board," she said.

And, Watson is certainly making sure that she gets into character, for not only has she dyed her hair white blonde, but has also brushed up her ballet skill by taking lessons.
