Washington, Aug 30 : Revamped United Artists' first production 'Lions for Lambs' starring Tom Cruise will mark the opening of AFI fest 2007, the American Film Institute has announced.
The project is the first one to come from the restructured banner, which is a partnership among Cruise, Paula Wagner and MGM.
'Lions for Lambs' will open the grand event at the ArcLight's Cinerama Dome on November 1.
Helmed by legendary actor-filmmaker Robert Redford, the flick also stars Meryl Streep and Redford, reports Variety.
AFI festival will conclude on November 11.
