Spanish heartthrob Antonio Banderas has reportedly been signed up by Marks and Spencer to be their new face.
London, Aug 30 : Spanish heartthrob Antonio Banderas has reportedly been signed up by Marks and Spencer to be their new face.
According to a Marketing Week magazine report, the 'Mask of Zorro' star will now be seen in the chain's pre-Christmas campaign in which he will appear alongside Twiggy and Erin O'Connor.
If the reports are true, then Banderas will have the honour of being the first male star of the M and S campaign.
"Banderas will the first male star of the campaign and it is expected the ad will focus on menswear as well as womenswear for the first time since the campaign was launched in 2005," The Sun quoted the report, as saying.
However, M and S has refused to confirm or deny the rumours.
The chain's Christmas commercial last year featured Dame Shirley Bassey singing a cover of the Pink track 'Get the Party Started'.
