Washington, Aug 3 : Nicole Richie may be serving time at Lynwood prison in LA, the same facility, where her 'Simple Life' co-star Paris Hilton served 23 days for driving on a suspended licence in June.
The socialite has been sentenced to four days in prison for a December 2006 DUI case.
Steve Whitmore, the spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said that her attorney had indicated she wanted to be lodged in Century Regional Detention Facility.
"Her attorney has indicated to us that she wants to come to the L.A. County Jail, but that is all we know," E! Online quoted him, as saying.
Prosecutors think that if the 25-year-old can get away with a few hours in county jail, since they are overcrowded.
