Julia Stiles avoids silly behaviour like Lohan and Hilton

Actress Julia Stiles avoids the paparazzis attention by not doing silly things like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

Washington, Aug 3 : Actress Julia Stiles avoids the paparazzi's attention by not doing 'silly' things like Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

The '10 Things I Hate About You' actress prefers staying away from 'reckless things' she feels they could derail her career.

"Without passing judgement on other people, I think that it's a choice that you make. They're getting such a mixed message for the attention they get for doing silly and sometimes reckless things. I just know it inevitably backfires," Contactmusic quoted Stiles, as saying.

The 26-year-old insisted that she would like to be appreciated for her acting rather than hitting headlines for a regretful behaviour.

"I don't want to be known and appreciated for that; I'd rather be appreciated for my work. If it means I'm on the cover of a tabloid magazine, then that's great," she said.
